Wait, Jayson, you love Colorado, yet you want to perpetuate the sprawl that’s destroying our natural beauty?! You want more freeways, so Colorado can be like southern California? You want to live in the wide open spaces, but you want to ruin the environment for the rest of us?

And, yes, it costs to build transit, bike lanes, etc! It costs to build roads!!! And BRT is a great idea for Broadway and Colfax. The 0 and the 15 are two of the busiest bus routes in Denver, and ridership would increase even more if those routes were faster and more convenient.

The argument that not everyone can or wants to use alternative transportation is specious. No, not everyone can or will, but a lot of people can and want to and even more would do so if it were convenient, and we would all benefit! And, yes, people with families too; plenty of them are doing it now.
