We’ve talked a bunch about the increasing number of people walking and biking who are being killed or injured in the roads. Today I speak with Dr Kelcie Ralph, Associate Professor of Transportation Planning and Policy at Rutgers University where she studies transportation, safety, and public opinion. I talk with Dr Ralph about that issue with pedestrian deaths as well as talk to her about her take that local news outlets that cover traffic collisions can affect perceptions of blame and responsibility among readers, listeners, or viewers. Also, a recent guest, Andrew Levy CEO of Avelo Airlines, told me they were looking to expand but they are doing just the opposite. Also the tale of the scooter vigilante in Denver.
