Today we are going west to California, to the small town of Bakersfield and talk to probably one of the most unique traffic anchors we have as part of EW Scripps. Officer Robert Rodriguez is one of the Public Information Officer’s for the California Highway Patrol but he is also the traffic anchor for KERO TV, our station in Bakersfield. Public transit usage has decreased significantly in Ukrainian since Russia’s full scale invasion on February 24th. While public transit continues to run, there are no services available when curfews are in place, for example 8:00pm - 7:00am in Kyiv.

There is a study that finds that the water onboard most major airlines that is served to the passengers is so unsafe that you shouldn’t even wash your hands with it. The shocking discovery was made by hunter colleges food policy center and Diet detective.com who investigated the water quality of 23 different US airlines. How congested will our roads and highways get in 2022? Will we see more people recalled to the office and see the roads filling up? Are people comfortable with sitting on a train or bus with others? I read an article on the Tom Tom blog called, “What is traffic prediction and how does it work?” The link is just below.
