How congested will our roads and highways get in 2022? Will we see more people recalled to the office and see the roads filling up? Are people comfortable with sitting on a train or bus with others? I read an article on the Tom Tom blog called, “What is traffic prediction and how does it work?” The link is just below. I wanted to know what traffic will be like in 2022 and how the change in commuting over the past two years will change the way traffic prediction algorithms work so I invited Jeroen Brouwer Manager of Customer Program Management for TomTom to be here on the show.

Today on the show I have what I think is one of the most powerful interviews I have ever done. Today I speak with Ken Snyder, vehicle Technology Expert and Executive Director of the Shingo Institute at Utah State University. Ken’s adult daughter Katie was killed by a drunk driver in October 2017 right after his daughter gave birth to twin premature babies. That event drove Ken to work to advocate for lifesaving vehicle technology systems to be installed in all new cars, something that is now part of the new infrastructure law signed this week.
