Do you want a vanity license plate but the word is so popular someone already has it? There are 30 names being released by the state of Colorado that you can bid on and win that plate you’ve always wanted. How does it work and why are they doing it. Amtrak is doing away with the dining car because of millenials. As much as Tesla wants to convince you that their cars can drive by themselves, they really can’t. SuperShuttle is done in Denver. Are more cities next? And the worst excuse for speeding in the history of speeding. All that and more on the Driving You Crazy Podcast.

Wednesday Sep 18, 2019
Wednesday Sep 18, 2019
One country is trying to crack down on rich citizens who use ambulance services as their own private taxi. Clue, not the USA. NYC Lyft and Uber drivers are protesting over low pay and working hour restrictions. A high tech bathroom is coming to an airport near you. Why can’t you have a semi caring waffles rollover right next to this rolled semi full of Nutella? A trio of why people should not drive after drinking. E139 - It's hard being a father in 2019
Wednesday Sep 11, 2019
Wednesday Sep 11, 2019
We all know that the roads and bridges and infrastructure around the country needs major improvement. The Reason Foundation is out with its 24th Annual Highway Report so we invited Baruch Feigenbaum, the lead author of the study and assistant director of transportation at Reason Foundation to talk all about the state of our roads. One man spent his son’s inheritance to fight a $100 speeding ticket. NYC transit is really gross and no one wants to clean it up anymore. What ever happened to a warning for minor driving infractions? And Joseph is one step away from becoming a pedestrian zealot. All that and more on the Driving You Crazy Podcast.

E138 - Whoops, there goes my AirPod
Thursday Sep 05, 2019
Thursday Sep 05, 2019
Do people who make more money over time automatically buy a car? That is the theory by one StreetsBlog author who thinks you are rich if you make $60,000 in NYC. UPS and USPS have secretly been testing out self driving trucks with much success. The new scourge on our streets, bike riders running over pedestrians. And being sweaty isn’t good for keeping your AirPods in your ears. All that and more on the Driving You Crazy Podcast.

E137 - No super commuters don't wear a giant S on their chest
Wednesday Aug 28, 2019
Wednesday Aug 28, 2019
Have you heard of a super commuter? They are people who commute 90 minutes each way in a car or with transit. Chris Salviati, housing economist with ApartmentList joins us on the show to explain all about why these people commute so far. When you live a life of crime you should not be surprised when your getaway truck gets stolen. New 3-D scanners in airports should allow us to keep our shoes on and take more than a thimble of water past airport security. How would you like to get a ticket from a drone that saw you speeding or not using your signal? It is happening in Spain. Nicole talks about the stories she covered on the morning show about fewer people are using their turn signals and about a new Reason Foundation study showing the states with the worst road conditions and congestion. What if you could turn in other drivers for driving badly and in return you get a lower insurance bill? All that and more on the Driving You Crazy Podcast.

E136 - Pitty party of one your table is ready, pitty party of one
Wednesday Aug 21, 2019
Wednesday Aug 21, 2019
Imagine a world where there are no more cargo ships on the open sea. Where everything is moved by air ships. That is the idea by some European scientists as reported on by Ross Pomeroy in Real Clear Science. Ross explains the idea and complications with the plan. When you impersonating a cop don’t pull over real cops. Is it time to build a subway under Las Vegas? One man is so fed up with never being able to merge he reverted to the written word. Who still plays Pokemon go? And the truck driver who just wants a thank you. All that and more on the Driving You Crazy Podcast.

E135 - Chill with my windows down and enjoy my 35 mph cruise
Wednesday Aug 14, 2019
Wednesday Aug 14, 2019
Is it becoming too dangerous now for kids to ride bikes even in your neighborhood? We speak with Forbes contributing author Bob Cook about his piece called Why Fewer Children Are Riding Bikes. Is it time for cities to completely redesign their road infrastructure in favor of people, bikes and scooters over cars? We debate that and other issues. Soon airports are going to be an entertainment destination not just a place to fly in and out of. And the latest member of the local news hall of fame. What if you could use an app to either find an open parking space on someone’s property or use that same app to provide a space in your driveway when you aren’t using it? There is such an app called Drivewayz and I speak with the founder, Reese Barracks all about the app and how you can use it to find a space or how you can make a little bit of money. Canadians are just too nice and they are causing crashes. Why can’t people drive in roundabouts? Nothing good happens at the cruise buffet at 2 in the morning. And the most unexpected items and services available for purchase inside international airports. All that and more on the Driving You Crazy Podcast.

E133 - Yea, I think this will make you wanta to sit in the middle seat
Wednesday Jul 24, 2019
Wednesday Jul 24, 2019
Do you hate sitting in the middle seat on a flight? Hank Scott, the founder and CEO of Molon Labe Seating has come up with a revolutionary design that might make you request the middle seat. It is a fun interview and he breaks some news on the show as well. Where should you not ride an electric scooter? On the interstate. The world's steepest street has changed from New Zealand to Wales and there is one guy who wants to change it one more time and bring it home to the USA. And why going out to Nevada for the area 51 raid is a good and bad idea at the same time. All that and more on the Driving You Crazy Podcast.
