Hawaii has a plastic problem, both on land and in their ocean. This episode I visit with Dr Jennifer Lynch, Co-Director of the Center for Marine Debris Research at Hawaii Pacific University who teamed up with the Hawaii Department of Transportation to study if modified pavements made with recycled plastics would be safe for the environment.
